Hello everyone! I would like to talk about a bunch of awesome projects that we are working on at Cosmic Labs. We are a tiny team of ebullient software engineers focusing on building intuitive software products. We are here to share some insight on upcoming projects that we are planning to engineer over the next twelve months. So let’s get on to the important bits of information!

Moments.

Over the past five months — We have been working on a product that will address many of the complications of video blogging on an iPhone. We have received lots of awesome feedback which has allowed us to change directions and produce a unique product for iOS. Moments is now a unified recording suite for iPhone, built by iPhoneographers, for iPhoneographers. Simply focus on recording your beautiful content, while we handle the editing and uploading for you.

Uniform.

We are building a product that we have codenamed “Uniform” within our team. Uniform will allow users to organize photographs and add various pixel-art filters. It will initially be for iPhone, with plans to extend to iPad. Many love this style of photography for use as avatars and in social profiles. Coming soon to an app store near you!

Echo.

Have you ever been in a call and had a support representative ask you to spell something out? A name? A serial number? Echo will enable users the ability to intuitively write out NATO phonetic terms in a quick and easy fashion. It will initially be for iPhone, with plans to extend to iPad and the Mac. More information coming soon!

Foxtrot.

We are building a product that we have codenamed “Foxtrot” within our team. Foxtrot is a product that will attract cinematographers and public speakers alike who are looking to better their level of confidence and public speaking ability. We’re going to engineer interactive exercises that feel like games, analyzing video and audio metadata that intelligently tracks confidence levels in our users.

We are building ConfidenceKit as an open-source framework for developers to extend off of our platform or build their own! Go and star the repository on Github! ConfidenceKit will be the brain of Foxtrot and we are super passionate about the product!

Our goal is to finish and publish both Echo, Uniform and Moments to the App Store before WWDC, as Tapbots have said it best, “We never want to be in the middle of a huge update or new app through the summer because WWDC has a tendency to derail us with significant OS changes.”
