Willow Finch, known by multiple previous names, is a 28-year-old queer woman from Vancouver, Canada. She is known canonically online as noisypigeon.

She works at Wealthsimple in platform engineering, with a focus on Kubernetes and observability. She is an alum of cLabs, Bitrise, Travis CI, and Lighthouse Labs. The rest of her professional experience is documented on her LinkedIn.

Willow grew up in the Fraser Valley, in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada. At 15, she fled home and moved to a suburb of Greater Vancouver to live with relatives. At 16, she was displaced and dropped out of high school, living nomadically across Canada, the US, and Europe through working holidays, freelancing, and competitive hackathons. At 18, she relocated to Montreal, Quebec; at 23, she relocated to Berlin, Germany, with brief stints in New York City and Montreal, before ultimately returning to Vancouver at 25.

She is a documentarian and data hoarder at heart. In her personal time, she enjoys working on her car, homelabbing, and reducing her reliance on big tech.
