Willow Graysen is a 28-year-old queer woman based in Vancouver, Canada. Online, she goes by noisypigeon, and she has published under several previous names.

She works at Wealthsimple in platform engineering, focusing on Kubernetes and observability. Before that, she worked at cLabs, Bitrise, Travis CI, and Lighthouse Labs (defunct). The rest of her experience is on LinkedIn.

Willow grew up in the Fraser Valley in British Columbia. At 15, she left home to live with relatives in Greater Vancouver, and at 16 she dropped out of high school. She spent the next few years moving between Canada, the US, and Europe, supporting herself through working holidays, freelancing, and competitive hackathons. She settled in Montreal at 18 and moved to Berlin at 23, with stints in New York City and Montreal, before returning to Vancouver at 25.

She's a documentarian and data hoarder at heart. In her spare time, she works on cars, runs a homelab, and tries to rely less on big tech.
